Database Technologies

MySQL:

MySQL is an open source, free database that is capable of handling large websites and enterprise level systems.  We have been working wth MySQL since 2003.

MS SQL Server:

SQL Server is the preferred database for enterprise management.  We have been developing SQL Server and Transact SQL solutions since 2004.

MS Access:

MS Access is a basic database system used across offices worldwide.  We have extensive programming experience in Access, customizing it to automate many of our client's business processes.

 

Server Technologies

 

Apache / LAMP :

Apache is one of the leading internet server technologies.  With an open source structure and  a free technology base the Linux Apache MySQL PHP Stack is one of the most ubiquitous internet solutions.  We have been developing and managing LAMP solutions since 2004.

IIS / Windows :

Internet Information Services is one of Microsoft's leading internet servers.  We have been developing solutions for clients on IIS/SQL Server/Asp/Asp.net since 2003.

WAMP:

Internet Information Services is able to handle MySQL and PHP installations, thus making it a unique platform for system interoperability.  Prefer Apache on Windows?  No problem.  We have been developing WAMP solutions since 2005.


Server Side Technologies

Zend PHP:

PHP stands for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor." It is a free open source language. PHP supports most common databases like Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL, and includes external libraries to generate PDF documents and parsing XML.  PHP's main benfits are:
- Lower development and maintenance cost
- High performance and reliability - Ability to embed itself into the HTML code
- Compatible with servers like Apache and IIS
- Runs on different platforms (Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.)
- Runs efficiently on the server side

Asp.NET:

ASP.NET is a web application framework developed and marketed by Microsoft, that programmers can use to build dynamic web sites, web applications and web services. It was first released in January 2002 with version 1.0 of the .NET Framework, and is the successor to Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP) technology. ASP.NET is built on the Common Language Runtime (CLR), allowing programmers to write ASP.NET code using any supported .NET language.

Java:

Java is a programming language originally developed by Sun Microsystems and released in 1995 as a core component of Sun Microsystems' Java platform.  It can be used server side.

 
Client Side Technologies

xHTML / CSS / Images :

We are firm believers in knowing the fundamentals. There is much one can do with xhtml, CSS, and Images on a website.

Ajax / Javascript:

These frameworks are becoming the standard for user interface development. Javascript provides the movement and functionality inside the browser. Ajax is a special technique in Javascript that allows us to create functionality without having to reload or refresh page in many cases.
 
Flash / Flex / Actionscript:

These represent Adobe's solutions for web video and rich internet applications.  Flash has long been the standard for animated intros and cutting edge web sites.

Java:

Java can also be used as an applet which runs locally on the clientside.
